picture overload

In an attempt to catch up on my blogging....here are a bunch of pictures from the year so far.  I hope to get all caught up and stay caught up.  Let's see if I can really do it!

So, January my little man turned 2.  I can't believe how big he is getting.  He is crazy climber and I am afraid will continue to scare me even until he is an adult with his climbing.  We have tried everything we can to keep him safe...we'll see if we can succeed.
He is still allergic to milk, so this frosting was made special for him with soy milk.  yummm!

Ricky took Kambry to a Daddy/Daughter Dance.  It is put on by the city each year.  Kambry was in Heaven as Ricky came home with flowers for her, took her to dinner, and danced the night away at the "Tangled" themed dance.  They had so much fun just spending the night together.  I think they are both looking forward to doing this more often!

We got so much snow this winter.  If you look closely, you can see Ricky's car somewhere beyond that mound of snow!

Kambry came home from school with this paper that cracked me up.  I love that she has no concept of money!!

Silly lunches to keep us sane through the long and torturous winters!

Here's Gus enjoying a cold yet sunny day.  It doesn't happen often that the sun comes out, so we all have to enjoy them!

Kambry had a project for school to make a robot made of recyclables.  It was so fun collecting items that we had used.  She had enough that she had a lot to choose from.  Here are her "Robot Plans" below.

Here is Kambry's robot. Before the paint job.

We even had enough saved up that Daxton could make a robot too.

Here is Kambry's robot after being painted.  For some reason I never got a picture of the finished project.  She ended up using buttons for the eyes and on the middle.  She also added a bracelet from a carton of milk.
And for some reason I never got a picture of Daxton's either.  He was so excited to take his to preschool for "R week" and show his off!

We ended up ripping out the carpet in our living room and getting new carpet.  It was so nice to get rid of that old nasty stuff.  It was so stained from the people before us, and it didn't help that Scout loved to pee on it too.  I love our new carpet!

Here is an AWESOME picture of Ricky during Mustache March at work.
So thankful he shaved it off!

Just messing around with the camera, because that is what we do when we are bored and it is still freezing cold outside!

Finally Kambry's artistic masterpiece.  It is the Tree of Life.

More to come shortly.
