we're baaaaack!

I have a lot of catching up to do. This summer has been so great. Ricky has had such an amazing schedule! We have had lots of time to spend together as a family!

Mid-June we had our family pictures taken. It hadn't happened for quite a while. In fact the last picture we had of Jace was when he was about 5 months old! Sorry buddy.
We found out about this AMAZING photographer, Lillian, from a friend. Oh, I am so glad we had her take our pictures. She was SO good with the kids and truly loves photography. Here is a snippet of our session with her. There are more posted on her blog that you can check out!

Here is Jace doing what he does best...getting into trouble. He LOVES the toilet! Thankfully my older two do a pretty good job of flushing the toilet!

I know it was forever ago, but here are some pics for the 4th of July. I got this awesome cake recipe from this blog. It was something I had never tried before. I loved it and I got so excited to cut into the cake! (Sorry in advance for the sideways picture. For some reason my computer wouldn't let me flip it!)

We had a little get together with some friends for the 4th! It was lots of fun.


We also had some fireworks that we did at our own house with the kids. It was fun to see Jace. He LOVED it and thought he was such a big boy! He wanted to be out lighting all the fireworks with Ricky.
