In order to get caught up, we are traveling back in time to spring!
In April, we went to a train museum with some friends. It was such a fun day (and super cheap), unfortunately Daxton was "tired", so we had to leave. When we were 10 minutes from home he threw up in the van. Glad we left earlier, so we didn't have to deal with that in the car the whole way home!
"T" Week at Preschool. All of the kids got their faces painted like Tigers. He had tons of fun being a tiger all day long!
With the help of my dear friend Bonnie, I made matching Easter clothes for the kids. I love how they turned out!
Here they are sporting their new Easter clothes.
The boys playing in the blossoms that dropped off of our tree. It is such a beautiful tree...but man it makes a mess!
Needless to say, when soccer was over, we were all relieved! Perhaps we'll try something different next year.
Kambry at her school choir concert in May!
Ricky had a CME conference in Cancun also in May. We went with our friends, the Smith's and had such an awesome time. We tried to eat all authentic food the whole time we were there....sometimes it was a little scary trying to get to the small restaurants at night, but we survived!
We did hit the Walmart there and can I tell you, they had THE best guacamole and mangoes that I have ever tasted in my life. Oh how I wish I could have brought some home with me!

This is our hotel at night.....it was such a nice place!
This is the view out our hotel window! Isn't it amazing?
We took a trip down to Chichen Itza. On the way we stopped and swam. I thought I would be fine without a life jacket, but I started hyperventilating and had to get out. Ricky enjoyed jumping off the cliffs off the side. It was so pretty. It also made me realize that I need to take swimming lessons to really learn to swim.
Chichen Itza and the Mayan Ruins
Seeing all these made me want to read up on the Mayan's and compare it to the Book of Mormon.
It was all so fascinating, however, the temperatures of 113 degrees didn't make me want to live there!
Xcaret
It was such an amazing trip. So glad that Ricky had his conference there, so we could travel a bit. The rest of the time was spent lounging by the pool, which may or may not have included a few naps and some good book reading.
A big thanks to Ricky's mom who came to stay with the kids, so we could have such a great time!
